Who are we?
PAMA was started in 1921 as a luncheon club for advertising, promotion, and publicity executives of publishing houses. Through the years, PAMA reorganized as publicity departments created the Publishers Publicity Association, and advertising agencies devoted to books became more prominent.
But the focus has always remained the same: educate, observe trends within the business, and foster excellence.
